My Hero
I close my eyes and wonder,how happiness came my way,
I turn my eyes and look to you,
and gives a small soft smile,
I think of how we had first met,
both so shy and quiet,
I see us now,
so close and bonded,
I see our love grow bold,
I walk over and lean down,
and kiss your soft lips gently,
I smile as I hold back tears,
and say, "you're everything I will ever need,"
You gentle words are so close to my heart,
you whispers are my songs into the night,
I fall asleep only after hearing you say,
I love you my only dear,
I smile as I think of you,
and places my heart in your hands,
I know its in a safe there,
you've had it from the start,
because of you,
I fight and scream,
for every single day,
because of you,
I see the light,
and walk towards the blaze,
You just don't know how much I care,
and how much love is here,
I will always love you,
and always care,
you've won me fair and square,
give me a reason to live without you,
and give me a reason to walk away,
I know that no one will understand this feeling,
I know I can only show,
that you are the reason I grin and bare,
and you are the reason I smile and stare,
this is real love this time,
this is what we want,
so baby you are all I need,
and all I ever want.
