Time
Time has passed since you death,
still the hurt seemed to press,
it seems like only yesterday,
now your gone and life is hard,
and now I know the life is gone,
you said that you would never leave,
but now you're gone,
I can't believe,
you promise time would keep us safe,
but now you never kept the space,
time to move on everyone says,
but they never lost as many and stayed,
I miss you and promise to keep it sane,
I promise to keep all the same,
I promise to love and to be,
I promise to care and believe,
time moves on and keeps us strong,
I pray it won't be too long.
