My Power
For so many years I've trained myself
to feed of your emptiness to keep me full
Only lost emotions I've endured.
Pain taught my body how to stay alive
Tears, i drank to keep my heart from becoming dry.
Your an angel from below dressed in scars of depression
You laugh when I fall
Tell me you love me...after ripping me naked.
The public see us and hide from us
You remind them of your possession
To frightened to lend out a helping hand
The eyes that God has given you to see
You use them as the Devil's obsession.
My Free Will you have taken
I wouldn't even dare to "think"
With every bone that breaks and every vein that pops
You gain more power
Now, I need to gain my strength.
You won't hear me cry
I'll lift my hands, push you to the ground and spit in your face
I'll dress you in white
I'll cleanse you with wine
I'll spread out my wings because he said I was born to fly.
I'll slam the Book of Truth in your face
Make you read out each verse
Pull out your rib and your heart
because I own that...plus more.
I'll gently lay you down
Open your mouth
Inhale my life
Take back my soul
Give you what you've given me plus ten times fold.
You beg for my crown
You want to follow my lead
Ask me in desperation what I had by my side to help my breathe...
I'll simply say this...
"Your force is weak,
My Heavens are Greater
My God had mercy on me from the Power of my Prayer.
