Tell Me Something
Tell me something that brings me to your attention
Look into my eyes and make me cry
Hold my hands, bring me near
Tell me something...not the words good-bye.
Tell me something to make me stay
Pressure me into wanting every bit of you
Breathe into my mouth your spirit
Do you see the fog of pain that you’re putting me through?
Tell me something that’s not of your shy heart
Give me a moment of rest and clarity
I'll take my time to open my inimitable heart
Tell me your secrets that are most precious.
Tell me you demand and desire my presence
I complete every moment of your being
Can I sit with you on your throne of gold?
I want the lonely to see us...and know there is hope for love.
Tell me something that makes my feet skip a beat
Make my heart stop from the miracle of your touch
I want to tremble in your arms....fall to my knees, carry me
Look in my eyes and be able to read out each thought.
Tell me something that scars me for life
Stitch a part of you on my soul that God has created in me
Repair any damages from my past
I have been created...to become the woman that you wanted me to be.
Tell me something that satisfies your essence
Discover by body with only your hands and your lips
Close your eyes and lead your mind to an imagination
Wrap a ribbon around our bodies to feel no disconnection.
Tell me what I am to you
A piece of your hand for you to touch
The air that was made for you to breathe
The night that lays you down to dream
The light that shines through each morning for you to see?
I will tell you this...
I express my feelings in words unspoken
Every expression that I make is what I think
Every action that I take is the truth
I become high in the words that I have written.
