    my valentine

Sometimes I wonder if she is there

someone to hold, cool night air

beneath the stars we stoke the fire

    a blanket below  hearts desire

    to talk through the night

    as we explore

    as bonds stregthen

    searching no more

will I find the one I can trust

    one that is faithful

    not bent on lust

    to walk together

    through sands of time

    forever yours

    my valentine

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
