My World
What is this but another day, a single smile to pass the time
Moon creeping by in a starlit heaven, how long can a soul deny
How would a flower know truths or lies, tender as a final goodbye
When will forever fill right, mournful days I struggle to fight.
Somewhere between the Devils cry, I hear the angel lightly sigh
Within the fear of fright, no words have I looking into your eyes
A longing never known inside, a quest to know your hears desire
The wind whispering sweet nothings, how could I tell you it is I
A single tear the reminder of life, how long must I run and hide
Just wanting to sit and talk, a moment of your time so priceless
A boy dreaming of a lady, you'll never know your saving grace.
Somewhere off another time and place, two hearts might fly free
A time before happily ever after, the place after once upon a time
Kindness within your words, one wish is ever have half a chance
Run the world round just to be there, or a single touch as we pass
Never will you know what I can't say, of tears in silent moonlight
To you I give this flower, a remainder of the beauty you behold
The sun, moon and stars of heaven, you brought to my world...
