Mysteries of Life
Some things are a mystery, and we'll never knowSometimes we just have to believe and let go
Some things we will never fully understand
Sometimes we have to accept, and not comprehend
This life isn't about our satisfaction or comfort
We have to accept the facts even when they hurt
When they don't make sense, the death of a friend
The sighing last breath as life reaches its end
The loss of a baby, a violent terrorist attack
Even when you have joy, confusion strikes back
Why can't you just make up your mind?
What's the answer you try so hard to find?
So how do we go through life with uncertainty?
How can I survive with these questions in me?
Well, I have a confidence in one greater than life
In someone whose power surpasses all strife
I have a hope that's greater than despair
When upward I look and I see Him there
In heaven on high, He's reigning over all
Then I know He is there whenever I fall
I know He holds me through thick and thin
Through it all I have confidence in Him
