Non-Conformity

Non-Conformity

Here's a box, they say.
Get in. If you don't fit
We'll lop off a few bits of flesh,
The odd limb,
Whatever it takes to make you fit.
Then we'll know how to handle you.
News flash:
I will never get in the box.
I can't be quantified
By typing a few words into a template.
I'm constantly changing; evolving
Constantly learning new things about myself.
Sometimes I'm a triangle, awkwardly two-dimensional;
Sometimes a sphere: "well-rounded", as they say.
I'll never fit inside your box;
I will not stay behind your locks.
Don't make mw go Dr. Suess on your a**

Cute and funny! I like this write. It appears you are not a square.

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.
