    To my ex husband always I wanted to give you happiness and I am glad you have come to find it.

    ODE TO MY EX
    I saw your smile today
    The one I always remembered
    I heard your laugh today
    The one that brought us close
    Feelings may change they say 
    But the memories never will
    You were my first
    That will never be taken away
    We created children together
    A structured father you are to them
    Although my heart has faded
    And yet yours still remains
    I will always care for you just the same
    We have separated 
    In friendship we do keep
    I will always be your greatest supporter
    When the others just turn their cheek
    Great things will happen for you 
    Even though the challenges are great
    I was the one before you 
    Even at your lowest state
    Somehow we will always be bonded together
    Although separate lifes we live
    All I ever wanted for you 
    Was the happiness you sought out you seek
    And now it is before you 
    I wish you nothing but the best with all your success.
