Past the Night
Never look past the night
There is much it holds
The darkness shines lights
To stories untold
While the night thickens the cold winds blow
The trees wave and whistle
with the softest hello
During the night the house lights glow
As it cascades out the window upon the winter snow
As the moon light shimmers upon the earth
it orbits in time
For a new day to give birth
Searching out for adventure in the deepest dark
Never looking past the night
Before a new day starts to embark............
