    One Woman

You expect me to read your mind
And do exactly what you say
You said that as long as I was with you
    Everything would be okay
You made me promises that you knew you couldn't keep
    Did I stay too shallow?
Or did I fall too deep?
I'm sorry if I'm not everything you expected
Sometimes life just becomes too hectic
But you need to take a minute to stop and see
That there's only one woman inside of me
You expected me to make everything okay
But I can't always make things go your way
You lied to me to cover reality
And now, I question my own vitality
Am I gonna have to leave you to make you realize
That you can't cover the truth with a bunch of lies
I truly do care for you, but I can't go on
If the love that you used to have for me is lost and forever gone!
