    Other Summers

Oh, how I love all other summers to come
Day after day, so we can have both fun and laughter.
Like any other summers when we were still free
So much in love, young and carefree!

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.
