Our Story

I looked at you once with loving eyes.
You were my heartbeat and my sunshine,
but now all I have are tears and clouds.
Once upon a time, you were my friend.
All I ever needed way you back then,
but now I'm alone even in crowds.
I try so hard to put things in perspective.
To be there for you to give you incentive,
but you just shut me out and walk away.
I remember when you and I were in sink.
When we were so in love that I couldn't think,
but now we drift further apart everyday.
I use to love when you held me at night.
In your arms, everything felt right,
but I have those memories and nothing more.
I'll miss you forever.  I know in my heart,

I thought we would be a forever story.
Through the years we'd remain in our glory
and I often dreamed of the life we'd share.
