Biography

I just absolutely love poetry! I love reading it, writing it, critiquing it, and, most importantly, feeling it. I read somewhere that poetry has been theorized to be a type of prayer. If this is true, then poetry could be considered a high art. Although, any mode of positive creativity is equal enough - painting, photography, architecture, etc.

Some of my favorite poets are R. Frost, A. Marvell, T. Gray, S.T. Coleridge, W. Wordsworth, etc.

When I write, I always try to alchemize various elements of all my interests: God, literature, history, odd experiences, dreams, metaphysics, science, environmentalism, space, animals, psychology, theology, nature, science fiction, etc.

If I critique, it's with the utmost empathy. And I cherish any constructive criticism of my own alleged poetry. Since we should grow, input is the water and sun!

Heartlight,
Stardrift

A VERY VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU STARDRIFT!!!!

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
