Devastation,
Is nothing new to me.
It comes as no surprise,
How come I can not see.
I can not see the truth,
No matter how hard I try.
I can not figure you out,
And I do not understand why.
After so many years,
I do not know the real you.
I'm so sorry my dear,
I never meant to hurt you.
The past is the past,
And the future is now.
I wanted to love you forever,
But I really do not see how.
You have changed my love,
In so many ways.
I wish I could have loved you forever,
For the rest of our living days.
But how can this be,
We drifted so far apart.
We are not the same people,
We do not share "ONE HEART"
