The stars shine through,
the clouds at night.
It is sad but true,
tis the story of my life.

Oh when oh when,
is it ever gonna end.
Tis the same old story,
from beginning to end.

The Love has gone,
oh so far away.
I loved you my dear,
Now things will never be the same.

We tried it your way,
then we tried mine.
I thought our love would conquer,
but got pushed to the end of the line.

I gave you my heart,
along with my hand.
So many years ago,
I thought I was your man.

But you have since strayed,
into the arms of another.
How could this be,
I thought i was your lover.

How could this be,
after so many years.
So many smiles,
and oh so many tears.

I have this fear,
of being alone.
we had the beginnings,
of a happy home.

But we never let it flourish,
I think we were too young.
To know what we were doing,
I guess they call that "PUPPY LOVE"
