"The Games That You Play"
The games that you play in mind are strong,
But in my eyes, completely wrong.
They say a mind is a terrible thing to waste,
Your mind games are a perfect example of this cliche'.
To get caught up in game is a terrible thing,
Mind is scattered, heart attached to strings.
Why do you feel the need for game?
I've done no wrong but am held to blame.
I've not toyed with your mind and emotions as you continuously have mine,
Explanations, answers, I have not yet to find.
I loved you unconditionally through thick and thin,
Somehow, some reason, still I cannot win.
I often sit and wonder, how can I remain to love thee,
After all the game he has brought to me?
It's an answer I have not yet found,
I must get my strength back and stand my ground.
For all the games you play, I now have to say,
I'm sorry and find without you a brighter day,
And we must finally go our seperate ways.
