    rainbow

If you were a drop of rain
in the shape of a tear
    you fell from my eyes
    i whiped away all fear.

if you were a breath of wind
    blowing gently through the trees
    you softly brushed my face
and sit my heart at ease.

if you were a flake of snow
    falling softly from heaven
    you gently touched my face
    melted and gave me peace.

but i see a beautiful rainbow
arched across a rainy spring day
so beautiful and yet so stunning
you simply take my breath away.

A quiet simplicity on its own, but when given voice, a shower of feeling sprung from the heart with wings of light phenomenon. Rainbow, how quaint. Excellent.

thank you again, this was the first poem i wrote

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
