Reigning In The Rain
Thunder is booming and shaking the foundation of my house,The wind is blowing so much debris and mud by my windows,
Some new disaster happens before we can shut our mouths,
Torrential drops of trouble and grief continue to come and go.
The afflictions of life continue to flood and refused to drain,
So I must continue to live , Reigning in the Rain.
This old house is broken , weathered and torn,
Soon as I cross from darkness to light, trouble was born.
Broken panes of glass lay shattered on the pale floor,
A testament to the storms , my house had to endure.
Splintered woods , uneven doors and cracks in the walls,
But despite it all faith refuse to fall.
The storms brought leaves, branches and hail on my roof,
But it refused to yield , did not cave in to the pain ,
My house became stronger because of the storms it went through,
I am walking on water , Reigning in the Rain.
