    Phases of Red

Red is the color of my blood
Red is the color of my heart
Red is the color of a rose
And a bird called the skylark
Some say red stands for anger
But for me it stands for strength
It is an aid warning of danger
Before one's energy is all spent
Red is a favorite  color  or clothing that makes one smile
It stands for true love that can burn through every trial
It is a red cardinal that fly throughout the day
Or as fire that can burn in every way

Thank you was the first poem i posted wrote it overthirty years ago i was in middle school always been special to me!!

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
