    RELIEF

It cam like a storm at daybreak.

The heat was so intense that
    it was hard to think.

    Allday Monday, I wanted Relief,
but by my own hand alone it
    would not come.

The moment I saw his face and his words made the storm subside.

It was just enough to give me room to think.

Then and only then could I ask the question, Please, Sir, help me! I need some RELIEF.

His voice came across the room a cool breeze, I could smell his scent, I could feel his touch.

Then the storm broke like a rush of water.

My Relief came with a Growl, and I purred like a kitten being rubbed down my back, and across my chest.

THANK YOU, SIR, FOR THE RELIEF

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
