    Retrospect

This will all end in pain
And I am mostly to blame
But I'd do it all again

    This journey brought no shame
    This adventure was no game
And I'd do it all again

    One perfect moment of piece
    One perfect night of sleep
And I'd do it all again

    Mostly questions of why
On my knees facing the sky
And I'd do it all again

    None of this was planned
I am just a simple man
And I'd do it all again

    Feels like my second half
    Cant let these moments pass
And I'd do it all again

    Frustration fills my head
From things that she has said
And I'd do it all again

This will all end in pain
This will all end in pain
But I'd do it all again

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
