Sad and Lonely Together
How lonely the days have become
when the one you live with and you
have nothing in common anymore
Or was there ever anything there
no passion, no friendliness, no care
just going about your own business
day to day stuff like going to work
coming home to the place you live
with another person who is not there
or maybe is but in another room
but that's ok because that's the way
that's the way you want it to be
you have no desire anyway anymore
Sad and depressed you both are
for nothing will happen to change
and nothing will ever be the same
One of you wishes the other would leave
or both of your would just like to be
anywhere else with anybody else
So sad and lonely together you've come
when the one you live with and you
