    Sisters

    They tell each other secrets
that no one else can know
    sharing good and bad things
'bout how their lives will go

    Arguments go with it
    sometimes a fight erupts
still each will have a friend
through all their downs and ups

Times we liked the same guy
they thought to date us all
    no concern for feelings
made each of us feel small

    Believe me we are sisters
when all is said and done
we know he is the player
who set out to have his fun

    Problems come in our lives
    we need someone to share
    sisters always take the time
    a forever friend to care

    Happiness or sadness
    it doesn't matter what
    we feel each other's feelings
a true friend is what we've got

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
