    Serving You

    Yearning, desire, burning need
you have awaken these in me
    I float through my days
    riding on waves of ecstasy
waiting for your words to bring me freedom
With you I give myself permission
    to be me
    to accept my deepest longings
    with no shame
I long for your touch to bring me close to my heaven
    One caress….and my knees weaken
longing to kneel to please you
more of your words and your touch
and I melt into puddles of pleasure
    trickling
    flowing
    waiting for your commands
Unfold my wings and I will fly
as you hold the strings that bind me to you.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
