    Slice of beauty

    The sensation of a cheer
As it reverberates a tickle down my throat
    A shiny glimmer, a spark
A lullaby written in a note
So pure, so sweet, so full of sympathy
A never ending forest of trees.
    Like a never ending maze
    A soft, nurturing breeze
    A curtain of overgrowth
All coated with a blanket of rhyme.
Reflections on the forest’s beauty upon a lake
Like a purple mirror of little time.
If this life could only be filled with such beauty and bliss
This life, all would surely miss…

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
