So Many Flaws
To whom it may concern,She looks in the mirror and stares at herself
What lies behind her mask, no one can tell.
She hates that she lies to avoid questions
And she hate that she can't be the image of perfection.
She hates that she is always filled with pain,
But she knows that she's the one to blame.
She hated that no one can see life through her eyes
And she hates that she always seems to be saying goodbye.
She hates that she always feels stupid or crazy
Or that the future of her life is foggy and hazy
She hates how she looks inside and out
And how her mind is always filled with doubt.
She hated when she has to stand up in front of others
She hates how she acts towards her sisters and brothers
She hates how she can't just get over herself
And she hates that she knows she needs serious help.
It kills her inside when she looks in the mirror
Because it reminds her of her problems and all of her fears
She hates how no one can see what she sees
I know all of this because this person is me.
I hate how I've been used and made so many mistakes,
Or how from my dreams I have to awake.
Look as close as you can and you will see...
The person I am... isn't me.
