Stay
I ask you why you love me
Just to see what you say
You answer, "I don't know"
So why do you stay?
There is no passion, fireworks
Laughing or any kind of play
You don't even look at me
So why do you stay?
I reach out to touch you
But the wall you have built is in the way
Things have changed so much
So why do you stay?
The children see it, I feel it
You just going through the motions day after day
Seems like you are already gone
So why do you stay?
I watch you sleeping beside me
I touch the pillow where my tears lay
And realize how much it hurts
So I am not going to stay
