    Stroll Through Paradise

All of the love that we share
While on this journey of life
Is what keeps me hanging on
Till the day you are my wife

All of the problems we face
Do not put pressure on me
For they are mere stepping stones
To get to where we should be

We are in the will of God
And struggles will come and go
But deep in our heart of hearts
Lies the peace we've come to know

    It's like we're in paradise
    Walking barefoot on our way
And if we step on a stone
We don't let it ruin our day

For the view around to see
    Brings comfort despite the pain
Because once the pain is gone
There'll be so much more to gain

    So we'll press on together
Through the pains of Satan's vice
For they are but a mere stone
    On our stroll through paradise

You are a poetic muse of serenity, sharing words of hope, faith and comfort. Often, as a poet, I personally find that many of my words are dark and melancholic in verse. However your works are a semblance of the love of God and a journey that is more than the pain and sorrows of existence.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
