    Sunshine morning

Alone in my bed I shiver at night,
As emptyness fills the spot to my right.
Your scents in the air, as I toss and I turn,
Like memorys nagging at the back of my mind.
The warmth on my chest still feels like your there,
cuddled up close, with my chin in your hair.
Arms wrapped around, not letting go.
I wish you where here to chase away the cold.
The room is to quite for me to sleep,
I miss sounds of you breathing when you sleep.
The mornings seem dull, without your sweet glow,
when you wake up with love and your cheeks let it show.
The way you smiled, when you looked in my eyes,
knowing i was there all night by your side.
But now you are gone, and the cold sets in.
But your never cold with him in your bed.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
