    Tears from the sky

    Tears from the Sky

The sky’s deep black like in a mourning mood,
Its sackcloth is as dark as an eclipse
I hear a banging roar ushering in
Tears from the sky, what a downpour it is.

The tears wash violently through my feet
    As mischievous men run helter-skelter
    A thousand voices violently scold
A sinful sinister world, crimson filled.

    Malignant mothers grasp guiltless infants
Shaky shelters shudder, shiver and shrink
Then the crying sky turns compassionate
Yet men show no remorse for their misdeeds

The lenient sky smiles at the penitent
Wearing a bright coat of many colours.
