Th Empty One Dreams

Th Empty One Dreams

He struggles on, through the night
Groping in blind rage, searching for light
Determined to be free, desperate for touch
Praying for hope, because it means so much
Blackness engulfs him
Darkness unmans him
This simple man heeds a certain call
But, is he willing to take the fall?
Through hours of sleeplessness the ghosts close in
He knows every night this will happen again
Dreams destroy him
Waking eludes him
Late into the night, his dreams are unceasing
Twisting his mind, never releasing
Tearing away all the hope that was left
Little did you know his name was Jeff
The Empty One dreams

rooms in myself I haven't explored as yet. Go with the flow of dream content, then release it. Try every day to soak in the blessings in life which will add material to your dreamscape.

This scene does not sound empty to me but rather a cauldron to growth which is being blocked. Life wants out of the box, the more you resist the more it persists. Don't mind me, I've been digging around in my subconscious looking for rooms in myself

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
