Time is going backwards for me.
Becoming a man that I never did like see.
Growing older has taken a toll on my mind.
I lost my morals and became unkind.
Things that I would never do, I would.
Things that I could not think to do, I could.
I do love her with all my heart, so big.
I wonder how can I be so weak like a twig.
At one time, I stood with a woman as strong as a tree.
Until a few times, a woman’s storm decided to cut me.
The wound healed and I thought I could then move on.
Now that I have someone good, I am doing her wrong.
The cut bleeds continuously, because open I had left it.
Now I realized that the cut has been infected.
Guilt of God and your honesty made me see what I need to see.
My loss of words is only because I had to observe me.
What I have become is what I hated the most, whenever I had seen.
I now can understand what a real man really means.
Stay true to the one you love because only they can love you.
Patch up the old wound and watch what love can do.
With your words of honesty, I told you I could learn.
I can say you are a true friend and a “Thank You” you have earned.
