    Thats What You Are !

     You are a refreshing sight after being marooned on a deserted island.


    You are a breathe of fresh air after being confined in a stuffy room.


    You are the rays of light after being blinded by misfortune.


    You are the tender touch after being mauled by injustice.


    You are the hope of the future in the mist of so much despair.


    You are compassion in a world when so few really care.


    You are a lifeline that won`t let me drift too far.


    You are truly special! can`t you see...that's what you are.

    This comes from the heart ! it flows well. The words aren't confusing as in some other poets work. This poem builds a " i wonder who the lucky lady is"thought pattern.

    aww, that's a very sweet poem. You have a good sense of flow and rhythm. I really enjoyed it. Only one typo. "You are a breathe of fresh air after being confined in a stuffy room." I believe you meant "breath?" Very nicely written, good job. Loved it. :)
