Poem Commentary

"The Architect" presents an observation of the battle being fought to create a single world government to rule the world and invites consideration as to the identity of the architect of this new world order,

The Architect

Only a vain man would think he is the architect and not part of the plan

To believe himself over and above his fellow man

But ask why should a man think he is pulling the strings

Or believe he could be in charge of things

What task or boon did this man promise

In return for vast sums taken from government coffers

What secret rite or touched lips on the hand

Or promise of reward in some fantasy land

A just earthly reward for his banking acts

Is our burden weighed heavy in a stealth climate tax

Climate change is part of the new world illusion

But it can’t be reality without our wholehearted collusion

Hollywood presents the battle raging in front of our eyes

Except they have taught us to cheer vampires without reprise

And like a vampire that comes knocking in the dead of night

Until you open the door this monster is too weak to fight

This is why he knocks quietly bidding you smiling open the door

He doesn’t want your body he desires a great deal more

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
