The dawn that never comes
Waiting for the light that never appears
Sitting in the darkness realizing my fears
Voices are screaming and talking to me
The darkness I realize is setting me free
My soul has been cast out
I have lost all self doubt
Spreading my wings ready to take flight
Like a bat flying blind into the night
Let come what may
My sanity is frayed
My self worth has been lost and now it is found
As I lie upon this hallowed ground
Rise up and take your stand
Is this what you had planned?
No more judgement no more hate
Just the darkness and my own fate
Dont fear what you cant see
Embrace the darkness and it will set you free
It doesnt matter where you have gone or where you are from
Just realize the dawn that never comes
Sitting in the darkness realizing my fears
Voices are screaming and talking to me
The darkness I realize is setting me free
My soul has been cast out
I have lost all self doubt
Spreading my wings ready to take flight
Like a bat flying blind into the night
Let come what may
My sanity is frayed
My self worth has been lost and now it is found
As I lie upon this hallowed ground
Rise up and take your stand
Is this what you had planned?
No more judgement no more hate
Just the darkness and my own fate
Dont fear what you cant see
Embrace the darkness and it will set you free
It doesnt matter where you have gone or where you are from
Just realize the dawn that never comes
