The Desert Sand
The Desert sandWhat a waste land
Nothing for miles around
Silence is the loudest sound
Dunes go on for miles
Gives you time to think about your triumphs and your trials
The sun bearing down on you without forgiveness
Why am I here who did this
The heat burning your skin
Almost like hell on earth how you have sinned
Your throat is dry
Swallowing is like cutting your throat from the inside
Your eyes are blurred by the brightness
Your chest doesnt expand you feel the tightness
The sands seem to be moving but you seem to be still
You are alone the vultures waiting for the kill
You are walking around like you are a loner
Only to wake up to a hangover
Dry mouth and coughing from your chest
Well did you past the test
