    The Fading Sunlight

As I touch the window pane I feel the summer
fading. And as I step outside I feel a cold
wind chill in my face. It’s Just a bitter reminder
    of summer ending.

A sad time and place without the summer sun
shining. The malls become full and the city
looks dead as the people stay inside eating
    and complaining.

The only thing too look forward too are the pretty
fall leaves changing colors but they soon fade.
As white fluffy snow takes over and brings the
    Christmas Holiday.

I miss the summer day and night. But time must go on.
Another summer will be coming in a while. So I'll just
have to hibernate, for a while, then smile and
dream of my favorite time of year.

Nice and very descriptive, felt like I was there.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
