    The Healing Process

    My life has been missing
    Since you've been gone.
    It’s unusual and annoying
    Like an overplayed song.

    I don’t call home anymore
    Because your not there.
    The happiness is gone sore.
The house seems quiet and bare.

When the weather is bad I look
For a missed call from you
But its not there. no one
    Even seems to care.

When the days come and go
They just seem empty sad and lonely
When seasons change I think of you
And where you are. So near, yet so far.

An angel in the heavens above
    Making everyone smile
    Touched by your love
    And your style.

    The memories of you often
Make me cry. A hard reality I
Am still trying to accept when I know all
I have left are memories and pictures of you

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
