THE LAST GOODBYE...
WHEN I THINK ABOUT THE DAY THAT YOU WENT AWAY FROM ME.
I WONDER WHAT MIGHT HAVE HAPPENED IF THINGS WERE DIFFERENT, HOW IT WOULD BE.
HOW COULD A LOVE I THOUGHT WOULD NEVER DIE END THE WAY IT DID?
I WISH I COULD TAKE BACK EVERYTHING I SAID. I STILL REMEMBER HOW YOU LOOKED AT ME, BEFORE YOU WALKED AWAY.
KNOWING NOTHING COULD BE SAID TO EVER MAKE YOU STAY. SO I HUNG MY HEAD AND CRIED, STRIPPED OF ALL EXCEPT MY PRIDE, FEELING MY SOUL SLOWLY DIE, KNOWING THAT THIS IS OUR LAST GOODBYE...
THE MEMORY STILL BRINGS ME SO MUCH PAIN. WONDERING WHERE YOU ARE. DO YOU FEEL THE SAME? BUT THIS I'LL NEVER KNOW, ALWAYS REGRETTING I LET YOU GO.
I STILL REMEMBER HOW YOU LOOKED AT ME , BEFORE YOU WALKED AWAY, KNOWING NOTHING COULD BE SAID TO EVER MAKE YOU STAY. SO I HUNG MY HEAD AND CRIED, STRIPPED OF ALL EXCEPT MY PRIDE, FEELING MY SOUL SLOWLY DIE, KNOWING THAT THIS IS OUR LAST GOODBYE.....
