The Lord the Navigator?-Reflections

The Lord the Navigator?-Reflections

I love you oh yeah
Theres a surprise
Only wish you'd be waking up in my arms.

Seeing the warmth in my eyes
Those seas of blue
Dreams traveled in our sleep

Two ships two captains traveling alone
Neither knowing their chartered course
Lost communication a meeting of the minds
The stars guided them that night

Thank you my lord
For bringing her into my world
Thank you for your guiding lights
Thank you most of all
For finding this love at sea

These seas of blue
Dreams traveling shes been
Beautiful to me.

It's more than a poem
We traveled together
Navigated by our two hearts

A reflection of love
A reflection of who we are

A Greater Reflection on You.
The Lord the Navigator

This poem was text to a dear friend.
Left unedited.  Whom I have lost contact with on varying times of my life.  We could have been twins and truly impacted our love for one another and everything we are.  Distance often kept us apart never having more than hearts that learned how to talk and listen. She has touched my life like no other.  My vows keep us apart.

Isasal, A beautiful and very poignant account of you and your love who seems so ephemeral and translucent. The yearning is what makes this poem so grand. Desire is a most haunting emotion. ginga

Wonderfully written and beautifully expressed poem. , this will become a favorite of mine. Thanks for sharing Mareann

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
