    The Storm

You see the flash of light.
    You hear the rumble.
You hear the rain pouring down.
You see the next flash of light.
    The next rumble is closer.
    The wind begins to blow.
    The rain hits the window.
A tree branch strapes across the window.
    It seems to last forever.
In a few minutes it is over.
    The sun comes out.
    The birds begin to sing.
    The storm is over.
