So many ways to destroy rather than create
and several more way to seal our own fate
What's right and what's wrong is up for debate
Differences of opinion leave one open to berate
Does the journey end once you've reached the pearly gate?
Will we have all the answers? We'll just have to wait
Can we make things right before it's too late
by doing what's just - is the sacrifice too great?
These are some of the questions that I ponder to this date
and not having all the answers is something I truly hate
As much as giving into temptation by taking the bait
or justifying decisions when we all make mistakes
Choices remain fragile and we still brake the crate
I would prefer to have a clean slate
Start it all over without having a full plate
and use life's knowledge in this "test" to retake....
