    From someone who mattered

    These words

    Leaving a desire shatters

    These words

    Wishing they were untrue

    How could they be uttered

    By someone like you?

    Spat out and muttered

    These words

    Unretractable

    Non-refundable

    Unable to suppress the thought

    These words

    Leaving me drained

    Unable to explain

    What just took place

    These words

    Widening the gap

    That separates us

    So close yet miles away

    These words

    Dropped like a ton of bricks

    Leaving me numb

    Words are so powerful - sometimes cutting deeper than any surgical knife... though most of us have the power inside to heal from verbal abuse or the misuse of sylalables and sentances of hate. We all have to find our own words - to use them well and to love with them! "These words Unretractable Non-refundable" - great word usage - with strong flow of meaning! 10 Soul
