    Three Faces of Mortality

I saw a face of mortality
The faces of years gone by
I saw the face of yesteryear and realized how soon I will die.

I saw a face of mortality
This face was of the present.
How soon each moment passes us especially if we're not in it.

I saw the face of tomorrow too.
And that was best of all
    Furutre's face contains all three
For its my son's, can't you see?

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
