We have lost some of you to a better place;
In my mind I still see your smiling face.
I know you are in the Light, surrounded by angels,
Singing praises to God, the One who truly Reigns Supreme.

I want you to save me a place;
Because, one day I will join you in His Grace.
Then we will play together again;
Football, and baseball, running, laughing, like we did back when....

I am sad that you had to leave us behind;
But only He knows when it is our time.
He wanted you home with Him above;
He wanted you home in a Place of Pure Love.

I am sure I will see you again;
My Bible tells me, and my Faith is in Him.
It will be awhile before I do;
But, I hope you knew how much I loved you.
