True friends are hard to come by,
Some say they are, but when you fall: they do not stand by your side.
True friends stay with you to the end.........
They are there through thick and thin!
Our true friends are hard and fast,
With us through the good and bad.
True friends you trust with your soul,
And; God willing; together you will grow old.
Whenever we are in pain or have strife,
True friends will fight for you with their life.
True friends make you laugh when you want to cry........
And; usually sarcasm is how we get by.
With mockery of the things that are wrong,
True friends help us to stay strong!
True friends listen when we need them,
And; never complain when we do it again..........
We need to be thankful for those that we have;
And; remember, even when we disagree do not treat them bad!
I know I have some very true friends,
Even if I can count them on only one hand!
I am blessed to have as many as I do,
For there are those that have very few........
I want you to know I am very blessed;
To be able to call you friend; and not having to guess.
With you secrets are safe and are never revealed,
And, that's how you know if your friends are for real!
