    True Love

He will fight to his death loving her
A man, who has the strength of armor
He can be weakened only by her eyes
Her kisses slowly lower his defenses
Bringing him to his very knees

Six feet and two inches in height
    Physically fit, sturdy and strong
Yet the thought of losing her
    Darkens his soul
And stops his heart from beating

True Love has struck it's arrow
He accepts it with open arms
    With both happiness and sorrow
As she came into his life
    When he needed her most

True love is a two way street
    You will come to see
She needs him more each passing day
Those eyes glare and say, "Come to me"
At night she thanks God as he sleeps

    He has brought them
So often, it's easy to give up hope
    But they took a vow
There would be true love for all times
Now they are one heart, dreaming one dream
