Trying to be with a broken man

Trying to be with a broken man

I'm sorry for your sadness and your despair
I'm real sorry that your mad, its not fair
I wish that we could talk, but its hard for me
I try to be a good person and listen to you be free
I don't want this drama to take you down
And hopefully find a way in which you won't frown
The sadness of everything is to much to take
I'm not even there, but I can feel your spirit break
Many times today I wanted to throw the towel in
And take this situation and throw it into a bin
Now your anger to this woman overwelmes your heart
As far as I can see, she is tearing you apart
Not to say that we are together, we just met you know
But I don't know if anything here will grow
I'll let you vent, just let it all go free
I think its time for you to sit back and breathe
Today was bad and I get all of that really
So I will give you some space if you want
To live freely. I have to go now, I hope we get a chance to talk
Than we can decided if all this is worth it or when we can walk.

thanks, it's hard to see anyone go through it, but when you want to love him, it's an impossible battle sometimes you don't know if it's worth having

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
