    Trying to Hold on

My faith has been crushed repeatedly
The light at the end of the tunnel seems to be vanishing by the minute
My thoughts are not my own
I have become a prisoner in my own body
the hurt, the shame, the disgrace
    the scars they leave
    Emotionally, Physically, Spiritually and Psychological
    I want to give up
But in the midst of it all my troubles
I can hear a voice saying:
    Hold on

I've made myself a prisoner so many times , dont feel alone. I think this is a good poem and more importantly I think it did you good to write it!

Tangible pain-- promising ending- very good flow-hold on... to it--

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

    Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
